About Us
Page One is a local Western Newfoundland writers group that has been in existence since 1987. Writers from all walks of life and various stages of their writing careers participate in our meetings, readings and other activites. We reach out to both young and old and include people of all walks of life, from students to seniors in our publications. We believe it is important to provide a venue where local voices can be heard and preserved. This mixture, a sort of Cabbit stew (See our logo - a cross between cat and rabbit, the tame and the wild, the ordinary and exotic) combines to produce a mixture that hopefully has something to offer a variety of readers, something some hate, and something some love.
