| Historically the rivers which flow into Bay St. George have been the best salmon rivers in the province- in terms of the number, and the size of salmon caught. There are also many good ponds and streams on the peninsula for trout fishing, as well as, an abundance of moose, caribou and bear. Several hunting and fishing outfitters operate in the surrounding area and trained hunting and fishing guides are available. |
