INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERSWe at PCI ourselves employ Filipino caregivers to assist in providing care for our children and carrying out the everyday chores. We understand the difficulty in deciding which candidate is the best to provide the care for our children or a family member, and we are here to help. A review of an application and a telephone interview may not always provide the degree of comfort necessary. To provide this level of certainty representatives of PCI will be making yearly trips to the Philippines and other Asian countries to interview candidates and check their references in order that you will have the optimum information available in making your final decision. You will note on the Caregiver Applicants page that under each candidate is a heading "Interviewed". If this heading is highlighted it means that the candidate has been interviewed and further information is available on that particular candidate. Please contact PCI to access this additional information. If a candidate has not been interviewed and you wish that candidate be interviewed or you have a particular set of qualifications which you desire your caregiver to possess, please contact us. Our representative while in the Philippines or other Asian country will either interview the caregiver or find caregivers who possess the qualifications which you desire. Employers should be aware that the processing of an caregiver through the Human Resources Development Canada and Citizenship and Immigration Canada may take several months. For further information on this process please visit HRDC.
